Administrative Specialist 2
KBR is seeking an Administrative Specialist II to support the United States Space Force's (USSF) Satellite Control Network (SCN) in Colorado Springs. The SCN provides highly reliable and secure data transfer, telemetry, tracking, command, control, and communications (TT&C3) for more than 195 Department of Defense (DoD), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), civil, and allied satellites.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide administrative or secretarial support to a department and/or Manager. Typical duties include general clerical, receptionist, and project-based work. Responsibilities may be unique to a specific function or department such as Procurement or Engineering but are mainly administrative in nature. Under general supervision, works within a specialized function to complete tasks in accordance with procedure. Supports general business operations by providing administrative support activities. Requires ability to perform basic numerical, statistical, and/or financial analysis. Applies common sense understanding to execute written or oral instructions. Effective oral and written communication skills are required.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
Support the onsite planning and execution of meetings and events.
Book travel and process various types of expense reports.
Execute onsite coordination and onboarding activities for new hires.
Submit equipment and supply purchase requests.
Coordinate visit requests for secure onsite facilities.
Manage office equipment, including inventory tracking.
Assist technical staff in generating reports and documents.
Collaborate with other administrative specialists across the corporation to achieve coverage and increase organizational efficiencies.
Other administrative duties as required to support management and/or organizational needs.
The skills acquired for this job are typically acquired through a high school diploma and 4+ years of experience.
Security Clearance:
Secret (or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance)
Basic Compensation:
$42,000 – $53,000
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
