About the Position:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will contribute to Amity’s mission by providing vital clerical support for the STOP ( Specialized Treatment for Optimized Programming) Program Director. This position would be responsible for a variety of administrative functions including document processing and preparation, scheduling, data entry, reception, and other administrative support duties.
What You Will Do:
Performs a variety of administrative, secretarial, and receptionist tasks including, but not limited to, arranging itineraries, preparing agendas, arranging meetings, and composing correspondence and memos.
Establishes and maintains files and records, which may include clinical or other confidential materials.
Receives, screens, and routes visitors, correspondence, and telephone calls.
Manage the logistics of routine in-service training.
May assist in research compilation and organization of statistical and narrative data for reports and proposals.
Coordinate routine data entry of administrative information, which may include general staff records and training.
May attend committees or other meetings.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
Prior experience as an administrative assistant or in data entry.
Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Bilingual, fluent Spanish/English verbal and written skills highly desirable.
Ability to manage competing tasks with tight deadlines.
Ability to work cooperatively with a multi-disciplinary team.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Superior organizational, oral, and written skills
Ability to work well under minimal supervision.
Ability to interact with agency and department heads and correctional officials.
