Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity in the Asset Management industry for an Administrative Assistant based in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role revolves around providing administrative support and ensuring efficient operation of the office. You will support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.
Responsibilities:
• Answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service
• Handling data entry tasks and maintaining records
• Managing email correspondence and responding to inquiries in a timely manner
• Handling both inbound and outbound calls as required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
• Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
• Assisting with reception duties as needed
• Maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail in all tasks
• Collaborating with team members and assisting with various administrative projects as required
• Ensuring all administrative tasks are conducted in line with industry standards and company policies. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
• Proven experience in answering inbound calls and making outbound calls
• Excellent customer service skills with a customer-centric attitude
• Strong data entry skills with keen attention to detail
• Experience in managing email correspondence professionally and efficiently
• Ability to schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings
• Past experience in an administrative role within the asset management industry will be advantageous
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
• High level of discretion and confidentiality
• Familiarity with asset management industry practices and regulations is preferred.
