Administrative Assistant Roles and Responsibilities:
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant within our team located in Port Arthur, TX.
The administrative assistant is accountable and responsible for providing administration support for the facility and any other items which come up on a day-to-day basis. This position will be required to run daily SAP and Production reports, file critical inspections, training compliance, and utilize SAP for PO and order generation for supplies.
Required Skills / Abilities:
Invoice processing and tracking
Maintain boiler licensing.
Order rental equipment
SAP transaction processing
Operations chemicals ordering
Security coordination
Maintain Share Sites
Experience with coordinating environmental waste
Maintain weekly time reporting, vacation, and sick time.
Maintain/update emergency lists, employee information folders, filing, etc.
Order supplies via Air Products Direct Buyer
Data Entry as required with documentation updates.
Assist plant personnel in the preparation of training sessions, safety meetings, social events, and other meetings.
Participate in plant and regional committees in an administrative support role.
Education and Licensing Requirements:
High school diploma/GED is a minimum.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and be familiar with internet usage.
SAP experience is a plus.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work independently to multi-task and to handle confidential requests.
