Position Summary:
Performs administrative and customer service functions for an assigneddepartment. Provides a variety of information for program offerings tothe College community and to the public. Completes data entry andretrieval processes. Manages student registration data in multiple datamanagement systems. Leads students through registration and intakeprocess.

A flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends will berequired for this position. Some in and out of state travel with andwithout students may be required.
Continued employment in the position is contingent upon continuedfunding through designated external sources. This is a grant-fundedposition in year 1 of its 5-year grant cycle. This grant is set toexpire on 5/30/2027.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides general information and services to students and thegeneral public relating to College inquiries and requests forinformation in areas including admissions, registration, new studentorientation, assessment, and testingAssists students, the public, staff, and faculty in solving routineproblems related to College student services and associated programsAnswers a high volume of calls and email inquiries from prospectivestudents pertaining to information about attending Pima CommunityCollege. Refers students to the correct College department forfurther assistanceAssists students with issues relating to registration and financialmattersUpdates and corrects discrepancies in student record informationsystem and other multiple data systemsAdministers tests to students and handles technical difficultiesassociated with testingOrders and distributes supplies and maintains supply inventory;prepares orders and related forms using established proceduresAssists with office coverage and special projectsPerforms all other duties and responsibilities as assigned ordirected by the supervisorJob Requirements:
High school diploma or GED andUp to one year of related experience in administrative supportPreferred:
Vocational or technical trainingOne to three years of related experience in administrative supportThe ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills andabilities:
