DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs an Administrative Assistant 1, you perform highly responsible administrative and clerical work.
Duties include providing administrative support and management of the board schedule, answering inquiries via telephone or in writing, and mail sorting. You also review waiver packets and hearing reports and determine appropriate action, arrange travel, order supplies, and various other administrative tasks. In addition, you ensure the proper number of board members and hearing examiners are present for a victim's testimony in coordination with the Office of Victim Advocate,

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week.Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM, Monday - Friday, with 45-minute lunch.This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 60 or 65.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three (3) days a week after sufficient training. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
