　　Shape the bright futures of Grand Canyon University students as an online adjunct faculty member for the online division in the College of Theology (http://www.gcu.edu/College-of-Theology.php) . For those with a passion for ministry and helping others through Christ, the College of Theology offers bachelor and master’s degrees in Christian Studies (http://www.gcu.edu/College-of-Theology/Christian-Studies.php) . Specializations include Youth Ministry, Pastoral Ministry, Biblical Studies, and Christian Leadership.

　　As an adjunct faculty member, you’ll provide program instruction in an online format, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline. If you are highly motivated and passionate about teaching exceptional quality instruction, we’d like to hear from you.

　　This course is an intensive examination of the philosophy and principles for youth ministry programming, including ministry purpose and goals, leadership development, teaching strategies, outreach strategies, budgeting, and evaluation.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Other main responsibilities include the following:

　　Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

　　Using GCU’s Learning Management System, you will be providing instruction to your students and grade their assignments in a timely manner.

　　Qualifications:

　　Minimum: Master’s in divinity (preferred) or Masters in Youth Ministry or Masters in Theology or Masters in Christian Studies from an accredited college or university with Youth Ministry coursework AND 2 or more years professional or teaching experience in the area of youth ministry.Application Instructions
