Under the direction of the regional operations manager and salesrepresentative coordinates internal operations, performs administrativeduties, weekly work plans, reporting and assists sales representative inmeeting expected growth objectives. This position also provides customerservice related to claims inquiries, membership, and general questionsthrough telephone calls, email or in person and ensures the servicecommitment by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is promptly andaccurately represented according to corporate standards. This positionrequires the ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion, theability to be highly detailed and accurate in a fast-moving productionoffice environment.\\**Position located in Garden City**
Essential Functions
Assists in market identification and updating of account data
Assists in proposal and renewal rating process, includingcalculation of broker fees and rate verification
Reviewing and submitting complete and accurate documentation forrating purposes
Prepares proposals, including rate calculation
Completes the enrollment process for new and existing employergroups
Reviews various member and group forms for accuracy and submission
Performs service and retention functions for sales representativesassigned book of business
Responsible for preparing sales aids to be mailed/faxed/emailed tobusinesses
Assists in developing sales aids and recommends improvement in salesmaterials where applicable
Assists in enrolling new groups, with occasional on-site visits andaide in enrollment or delivering supplies/contracts, etc. and othercontacts through written and oral methods
Responds to questions, objections, complaints, and concerns ofcustomers either by written, phone or walk-in inquiries
Conducts group administrator meetings and group employee meetings inperson and/or virtually where issues and concerns may be raised
Research and explain benefit options and underwriting regulationsassociated with group sales and enrollment
Assists in market identification and updating of account data
Coordinates travel, meeting arrangements and materials for groupmeetings and sales representatives weekly sales calls
Participates in various job-related training throughout the year(travel may be required)
Ability to communicate and collaborate in a professional manneracross all lines of business including internal departments,external contacts, brokers and groups
Maintains sales aids and monitors effectiveness and use of existingmaterials with regional operations manager
