Position Summary
The Actuarial Lead Director will have wide accountability for solving enterprise financial and operational challenges, as well as modeling and analyzing potential strategic opportunities that drive results across the enterprise business segments of HCB, HCD, PSS, and PCW/Retail. A core responsibility will be owning the financial evaluation of synergies and value creation initiatives related to Oak Street Health integration, as well as involvement with Signify Health integration and other potential M&A or joint venture opportunities in the future. This individual will perform complex, comprehensive, and accurate financial analysis of strategic initiatives, with advanced actuarial analysis when necessary, and provide recommendations that are well thought out and defendable to influence the overall strategic direction for the enterprise. This role will be heavily focused on working in cross-functional and cross-segment teams with representatives of varying levels, up to and including members of the ELT, to convert advanced data and analytics into actionable business insight. This role also includes collaborating on business initiatives, recognizing and anticipating matters that will materially impact financial outcomes, providing sound risk-management advice, and communicating all the above effectively to executive-level audiences. In addition, the Actuarial Lead Director will help identify, implement, and train Enterprise Economics employees in best practice strategies across the business and managing large-scale projects. The individual in this role will regularly interface with executives at the highest level including Segment CFOs, Segment Presidents, other SVPs and members of the Executive Leadership Team.

Required Qualifications
• 8- 10+ years progressively responsible professional actuarial and/or finance experience
• Strong understanding of Health Care Benefits, Health Care Delivery, PBM and/or Pharmacy segments; experience across multiple segments is a plus
• Proven project management skills including experience in development and management of multiple projects and various initiatives
• Understanding of marketplace and competitive trends, enterprise strategy and constituency expectations
• Demonstrated leadership and project management experience
• Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation and influential skills
A bility to work well in a matrixed, multidisciplinary team environment, as well as independently
Education
Required - Bachelor's Degree
Preferred - FSA or ASA
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $227,000.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
