  This Client is looking for a Sr. Active Directory Engineer to help with their enterprise Active Directory environment. Candidates should have strong experience managing and administering large Active Directory environments and supporting migrations using ADMT. Sr. Engineer accountable for implementation of identity authentication according to defined roadmaps leveraging Microsoft Azure and Active Directory. Support daily operations with identity technologies including but not limited to Active Directory. The ideal candidate is accountable for delivering a comprehensive set of services including: technical level-3 implementation and operational support escalation, azure application builds, and major incident / problem management

  Core Job Responsibilities

  • The role’s scope includes modern identity technologies: Active Directory, Azure cloud application authentication with SAML / OAUTH / OIDC, client secret management, certificate renewal, LDAP-S, public key infrastructure and certificate authorities.

  • Supports implementation of enterprise architecture standards according to identity best practices for mergers/migrations to the centralized Active Directory.

  • Serves as a cross-platform technical subject matter expert and provides operational consulting support to design engineers in BTS IT, Division IT, and end-user organizations that demand extraordinary IT solutions.

  • Supports the comprehensive BTS technical community and provides the intellectual bridge to corollary technical disciplines.

  • Participate in multi-discipline design or problem resolution sessions.

  • Works with the Security Architecture team to implement security policies as applicable to the identity infrastructure environment.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  Position Accountability/Scope

  • Demonstrates mastery of the concepts and theory of infrastructure for authentication technologies/federation.

  • Working knowledge of active directory support & operations.

  • Demonstrated knowledge across data network disciplines, computing platforms, network-based technologies, and applications.

  • Development of metrics by leveraging demonstrated knowledge of PowerBI and Advanced Excel pivot table features.

  • Acts independently to achieve organization objectives, uncover, and resolve issues. Recommends technical programs to accomplish long-range objectives.

  • Demonstrates a strong customer-centric approach, an empathy for global cultural differences, and excellent communications skills.

  Minimum Experience/Training Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a technology discipline.

  • 5 years experience with identity & access management technologies.

  • IT experience in Microsoft Azure/Federation technologies related to application authentication.

  • Significant experience with customer-facing meetings on technical topics.

  • Significant experience of doing Enterprise Active Directory migrations is a plus.

  • Experience supporting privileged remote access, password vaulting technologies is a plus.
