About Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for managing financial transactions and ensuring payments are received on time? Our client is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer accounts and supporting the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and post payments to customer accounts in a timely and accurate manner (Source: RH Acronym Guide).

Generate invoices and ensure their delivery to clients in line with billing schedules.

Monitor and manage accounts receivable balances, including following up on overdue payments (Source: RH Acronym Guide).

Research and resolve payment discrepancies and disputes, ensuring timely resolution.

Work closely with the Credit and Collections department to support debt recovery efforts (Source: RH Acronym Guide).

Reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy between financial records and client statements.

Prepare accounts receivable reports and support month-end closing activities.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is a plus.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (Source: RH Acronym Guide).

Strong attention to detail and ability to handle numbers accurately.

Excellent communication and customer service skills to manage client relationships effectively.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ERP systems or other integrated accounting software.

Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration, including with Credit and Collections teams (Source: RH Acronym Guide).
