Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5 years experience in accounts receivable.
• Calculate and issue final wages for terminated employees.
• Manage and audit employee vacation and sick time reports.
• Manage and record-keeping of company provided keys and fobs.
• Manage company bus pass program.
• Advanced competency in accounting and business management software, such as Deltek or similar accounting software systems.
• In-depth knowledge of accounts receivable principles, accounting standards and industry regulations.
• Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures.
• Detail-oriented and can pivot from a task when needed.
• Ability to use MS Office software.
• Self-motivated
Description:
• Gather and verify billing data from all the departments.
• Prepare invoices and submit them to the clients in a timely manner.
• Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Enter approved billing adjustments to customer accounts, including credit memos, discounts, and approved credits.
• Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
• Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.
• Prepare bank deposits and deposit payment to a bank.
• Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
• Research payment inquiries from customers and assist with payment reconciliations.
