Full Cycle Accounts Receivable Specialist

Anna Parson at Robert Half is currently seeking a personable, experienced, well-spoken Full Cycle Accounts Receivable Specialist to handle client billing, customer payment applications, aging review, collections and customer account reconciliations. Position is located in Manorville. Familiarity with AIA billing and proficiency in QuickBooks is highly preferred.

As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will:

Manage end-to-end invoicing and billing process.

Accurately apply customer payments and collect on outstanding payments.

Conduct regular aging review and identifying accounts that require follow-up.

Reconcile customer accounts and ensuring their accuracy.

Guide customers through billing issues and inquiries.

Ensure all financial data is properly recorded and updated in our accounting system.

Assist with the month-end closing process.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role within the construction/contracting industry

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is mandatory

• Demonstrable experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Hands-on experience with Billing processes

• Proficient in Cash Applications and Cash Collections

• Experience in Commercial Collections is required

• Experience using Microsoft Excel and familiarity with QuickBooks software is a must

• Experience in Project Billing within a construction/contractor environment preferred
