Interesting new hybrid contract position in Alpharetta, GA with an established insurance firm in the healthcare space with first class facilities in Alpharetta, GA. This is a contract role to start and will be a 3-4 month engagement with possible extensions
What is Required? Accounting experience as well as strong Excel Skills, including Pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, and other advanced formulas.
Oracle R12 experience is needed
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
What Will You Be Doing?
You will be responsible for mid-level accounting functions within the Accounts Receivable (AR) department in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and statutory requirements. This position is responsible for analyzing AR general ledger accounts (revenues, cash, accounts receivable and other AR balance sheet accounts) and prepares reports detailing findings for general ledger variances and provides supporting documentation. The incumbent prepares intercompany premium transfers and performs month-end closing AR journal entries. Identifies, investigates and resolves specific financial system interface exceptions.
