Job Description:
The client is seeking a Payroll Accountant to play a key role in ensuring accurate reconciliation, adjustments, and recording during the financial closure process. The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for meticulously reconciling payroll accounts, making necessary adjustments, and recording all relevant transactions.Payroll Reconciliation:
Conduct thorough reconciliation of all payroll-related accounts for 2023.Identify and investigate discrepancies, variances, or irregularities in payroll records.Adjustments and Corrections:
Review and process adjustments and corrections to payroll transactions as needed to ensure accuracy and compliance.Coordinate with relevant Country Offices to rectify any errors or discrepancies in payroll data.Financial Recording:
Prepare payroll journal entries for general ledger posting.Prepare and submit required payroll reportsEnsure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master's degree in accounting or professional accounting certification (CPA, CA etc.) is an advantage.Knowledge and Experience:
A senior level consultant with at least 10 years’ experience in financial management, accounting and/or related areas.Experience in payroll management would be a benefit.Advance knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling web-based management systems and ERP financials.Knowledge of Oracle systems is a distinct advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and spoken communications skills.About our Company: -
