Summary

To provide leadership skills to the Accounts Payable department within the organization. Responsible for processing large volumes of vendor invoices in the ERP system, including examining, verifying, and reconciling a variety of transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead Accounts Payable Team for the Custom Truck One Source organization. Including, approving timecards, approving time off requests, production discussions, continuous training in the system, and assisting/backing up the Accounts Payable Assistant Manager on special projects and when out of office.

Research, resolve and communicate with team, internal departments, and vendors on daily challenges.

Build vendor relationships and work with them on removing holds.

Implement procedures and policies within duties of the Accounts Payable team to ensure adherence to company guidelines.

Qualifications include:

Familiarity of working in a high-volume environment with excellent communication skills

Attention to detail and overall thoroughness to manage all levels of information

Knowledge of, and experience with M3 systems

Ability to influence others to adopt newly designed processes

Takes personal responsibility to improve processes and systems

Excellent relationship building skills, able to build trust with stakeholders

Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines

Positive, proactive, and self-motivated

Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Ability to exercise good judgment; makes decisions in logical and rational manner

Strong working knowledge of change management and agile project management techniques

Problem solving ability

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Certifications in Business Process Management, Lean Six Sigma, Agile Project Management, preferred, but not required.

Two years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment

Previous supervisory experience

Attention to detail and overall thoroughness to manage all levels of information

Excellent relationship building skills and ability to build trust with stakeholders

Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities

Positive, proactive and self-motivated

Problem solving abilities

Working Conditions

Works in an office environment with occasional interaction with the manufacturing facility

Ability to travel up to 5% of the time with rare overnight stays

Physical Requirements

Sitting, standing, and walking

Attendance - The ability to work as scheduled with punctual attendance, Monday-Friday plus any additional hours/days necessary to meet business demands

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
