Robert Half has an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk opportunity that offers a stimulating work environment with a team of highly skilled professionals. The candidate's responsibilities in this role include attending to the general needs of the AP/Finance Department, while working closely and reporting to the Accounting Manager. The essential functions of this role will include matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, reconciling company credit cards, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. Key responsibilities
Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Carry out a full-cycle A/P
Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Provide support during internal and external audits
Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
Requirements - Well-founded grasp of Approved Invoices
Microsoft Excel experience required
Comprehension of Invoice Payment
Proven knowledge of Expense Reconciliation
Solid understanding of Open Invoice
Excel Formulas experience
Quality experience with customer invoices
Good understanding of Invoice Coding
Foundational knowledge in Credit Card Reconciliation
Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred
Practical knowledge of Payments Reconciliation
Well-founded grasp of account reconciliation
Strong familiarity with Unanet
Wide ranging experience with Enter Invoices
Knowledge of Post Invoices
Skills in Invoice Entry
Prior experience with Monthly Invoices
General familiarity with Code Invoices
Experience with Invoice Processing
Experience with Daily Reconciliation
Earlier work involving Enter Vendor Invoices
Hands-on experience with Invoice reconciliation
Practical knowledge of Coding Invoices
Previous experience working with Invoice Discrepancies
General familiarity with bank reconciliations
Proficiency in Process Vendor Invoices
Aging Accounts experience
Solid understanding of Payable Invoices
Proven knowledge of High-Volume Invoicing
Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
Excellent attention to detail
