We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the construction industry. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be integral in managing and maintaining the financial processes related to accounts payable/

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process credit applications from customers

• Code invoices accurately according to the correct accounting functions

• Enter vendor invoices in a timely and precise manner

• Maintain up-to-date vendor files to ensure smooth transactions and communications

• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary action for any discrepancies

• Manage weekly account payable duties, ensuring all tasks are completed

• Maintain accurate records of customer credit

• Handle payable invoices with precision and efficiency

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Utilize Sage Intacct software for full-cycle accounts payable tasks.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role in the construction/contractor industry.

• Proficiency in accounting functions and account coding.

• Demonstrable experience handling Accounts Payable (AP).

• Experience with approving and coding invoices.

• Ability to efficiently enter vendor invoices.

• Proven experience maintaining vendor files.

• Familiarity with handling payable invoices.

• Experience with weekly account payable tasks.

• Proficiency in entering invoices.

• Strong knowledge of Sage Intacct software.
