Description

Robert Half is currently staffing for an Accounts Payable Clerk for our client out of Ocean County. The primary role of the Accounts Payable Specialist will be to manage customer invoices, maintain customer files, and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to customer payments.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare customer invoices with a focus on the accuracy of pricing and quantities in a timely manner.

• Ensure customer invoices are dispatched via EDI, Email, and mail.

• Maintain and update customer files in the accounting software.

• File and maintain sales and vendor records systematically.

• Proactively research and resolve payment discrepancies and unauthorized deductions.

• Accurately code and record vendor invoices for payment processing.

• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Bank Reconciliations, Aging Reports, and Entering Invoices.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of one year of experience in an accounts payable role

• Demonstrable skills in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations

• Ability to generate and analyze Aging Reports

• Proficiency in entering invoices into relevant systems
