Description An opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk at a a company in the IT Software field has opened up. This position is offered through Robert Half. As the Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk, you will have the opportunity to become an integral part of a company in the IT Software industry. Based out of the Denver, Colorado area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary to hire opening. In this dynamic department, there is an opportunity for career growth and quick advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be required to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.
How you will make an impact
Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
Operate full-cycle A/P
Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed
Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners Requirements - Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
Deep understanding of NetSuite
Expertise in Coupa
Microsoft Excel experience preferred
Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Excellent attention to detail
