Description

　　An Oil and Gas Services company located in The Woodlands is searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist on a contract to hire basis immediately. The Accounts Payable Specialist will report to the Accounts Payable Manager and must have a minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant accounts payable experience,

　　Essential Duties of the Accounts Payable Specialist include:

　　• Receive, verify, process, and reconcile vendor invoices

　　• Compare purchase orders, invoices, and goods receipt for accurate 3-way match

　　• Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices and confirm that the correct general ledger account codes are used

　　• Coordinate with areas of the business for invoice approvals and PO adjustments and corrections

　　• Respond to external vendors and internal personnel regarding all aspects of the accounts payable process, including processing invoices for payment, assisting with account reconciliations, and expense report processing

　　• Perform ad-hoc analysis, assist with projects and any other assigned tasks and duties as directed

　　• Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close

　　The hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00pm and the company offers a hybrid work schedule! The position is contract but could lead into a permanent position for the right candidate! Apply today!

　　Requirements

　　· 2+ years of accounts payable / general accounting experience

　　· Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail

　　· Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

　　· Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel required)
