Description

　　Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the Accounting team for one of our clients in Ventura, CA. This is an established organization that is positioned to grow and expand. The Accounts Payable Clerk role involves a range of daily and monthly A/P responsibilities, including coding invoices, matching invoices to receivers and purchase orders, and entering invoices and memos into the system. The position encompasses full cycle accounts payable tasks, such as issuing payments through checks, ACH, and bank wires, along with reconciling vendor statements. Additionally, the candidate will be involved in preparing A/P-related month-end journal entries and conducting account analysis.

　　Requirements

　　The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency, with a preference for some college accounting classes. A minimum of 3 years' experience in accounts payable is required, preferably in a public manufacturing company. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment are essential. Effective written and verbal communication skills are a must, and proficiency in MS Excel and experience with Netsuite is expected.
