Description
Position Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Type: Temporary Assignment (Potential Temp to Hire)
Location: Onsite, reporting to Senior Accountant
Responsibilities:
Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
Process check requests
Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks, and distribute checks accordingly
Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies
Protect organization's value by maintaining confidentiality of information
Procure Purchase Orders
Assist with other projects as needed
Maintain a clean and well-organized work area
Follow up on the status of orders, resolve issues, and communicate changes
Process customer and sales requests for quotes
Demonstrate positive leadership traits at all times
Possess strong verbal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels

Ability to read and comprehend advanced instructions
Presentation skills for one-on-one or large group situations
Interpretation of documents such as sales orders, quotes, surveys, and contracts
Strong problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Documentation skills

Data analysis and multitasking skills
