To support this rapid growth, Ginkgo is seeking a highly motivated Accounts Payable Processor to join our Procurement and Supply Chain team. This Accounts Payable Processor will report to the AP Lead and will collaborate closely with all functions across Ginkgo to support invoice processing and customer support. As Accounts Payable Processor, you will collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Accounting and various business teams, in addition to external suppliers.
Your strategic thinking, analytical skills, and accounts payable expertise will help drive decision-making to ensure that short, medium, and long-term goals are achieved. Responsibilities:Execute the operational processes in Accounts Payable, including creating and reviewing invoices, ensuring timely processing of supplier payments.Support suppliers in processing their invoices through statement reconciliation, invoice entry and reconciliation.Resolve incoming questions from business partners and suppliers regarding invoices, including status of payment, exception handling and remittance information.Resolve order related issues with suppliers to ensure that business needs are met.Process and support key invoice processes in accordance with the Accounts Payable Calendar.Support the AP Lead in documentation; review preparation for accruals and month end activities.Provide ad-hoc reporting for Accounts Payable, business partners and other functions as needed.Minimum Requirements:2+ years of Accounts Payable experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent work experiencePreferred Capabilities and ExperienceExperience with Procure to Pay systems e.g. Coupa or AribaProven customer support skillsStrong analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the company and communicate thoughtfully to diverse stakeholders, and external partiesAbility to remain flexible in a fast paced, high-growth environmentDemonstrated commitment, self-motivation, and driveEnthusiasm about being a part of Ginkgo's missionTo learn more about Ginkgo, visit www.ginkgobioworks.com/press/ or check out some curated press below:What is it really like to take your company public via a SPAC?
