Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk. In this role, the successful candidate will be a key member of our team, responsible for managing and maintaining our accounts payable processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process and manage customer credit applications

• Maintain and update customer credit records accurately

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable

• Process invoices and ensure they are coded correctly

• Conduct account reconciliations

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, and QuickBooks for various accounting tasks

• Run checks as per the company's procedures

• Utilize SAP and other software for accounts payable functions.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial records

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures, demonstrating understanding of the entire process

• Familiarity with Check Runs to facilitate regular company-wide payments

• Ability to perform Coding Invoices, demonstrating attention to detail and understanding of accounting codes

• Strong Data Entry skills, ensuring timely and accurate input of financial data

• Expertise in Invoice Processing, showcasing the ability to handle large volumes of invoices efficiently

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for creating and managing financial spreadsheets

• Experience with Oracle to manage financial data and reporting

• Knowledge of QuickBooks for managing and tracking the company's financial transactions

• Familiarity with SAP for efficient handling of accounting processes and financial management
