Description Robert Half is looking for an analytical and organized Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk that is ready to become an essential part in a team-oriented and rapidly-expanding company. This position is long-term contract / temporary. The Accounts Payable Clerk will resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, process checks, and match, batch, and code invoices. As the role progresses , more responsibilities will be assigned to the Accounts Payable Clerk. Located in Bellevue, Washington, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary opening.

　　Responsibilities

　　Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners

　　Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

　　Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

　　Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

　　Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

　　Assist with internal and external audits as needed

　　Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

　　Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them

　　Conduct full-cycle A/P Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

　　Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Excellent attention to detail

　　Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
