Description A position has opened up for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk at a a company in the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance field. This position is offered through Robert Half. As the Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk, your efforts will become an important part to the success of a company in the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance industry. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Austin, Texas area and will be a short-term contract / temporary to hire position. Further career growth and quick advancement is possible in this dynamic department. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be expected to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.

　　Key responsibilities

　　Provide support to internal business partners

　　Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

　　Manage full-cycle A/P

　　Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

　　Perform special projects as assigned

　　Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

　　Help with internal and external audits as required

　　Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

　　Strong attention to detail

　　Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

　　Demonstrated knowledge of IRS W-9 Forms

　　Adeptness in Vendor Management

　　General familiarity with Microsoft Excel

　　Expertise in Invoice Processing

　　Numeric data entry experience preferred

　　Sage Intacct experience

　　Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Strong familiarity with numeric data entry
