Description Keep accounts maintained and organized as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk in an industry-leading company on a long-term contract / temporary through Robert Half. Serving as the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. An individual in this position will need a high aptitude for computer software, be mindful of details and a self motivator. Located in San Diego, California, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary opening.

　　How you will make an impact

　　Provide customer service to internal business partners

　　Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

　　Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

　　Implement full-cycle A/P

　　Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department

　　Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

　　Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

　　Execute additional tasks as needed Requirements - Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

　　Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

　　Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
