Two years technical or business degree or equivalent combinations of education and estimating experience. Five years' experience as electrical estimator preferable.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSElectrical construction experience or construction management degreeEstimator/Project supervisorKEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIESExcellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.Demonstrated conceptual estimates and financial analytical skills.Excellent oral and written communications skills.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESQuantity takeoff.Quantity takeoff entry into estimating software.Solicitation and review vendor and subcontractor quotations.Review current material pricing levels.Review and estimate addenda as requiredVisit site and/or attend site walk meeting.Review bid/construction schedule.Initial review of contract if included in bid documents.Draft and submit proposal documents.Follow post bid closeout procedures.Attend weekly estimating team meetings.Perform additional duties as assigned.COMPENSATION & BENEFITSBenefits include Medical/Dental/Vision/401K/LifeADDITIONAL INFORMATIONBackground check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required (will vary by position).Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans.
