Description Robert Half is seeking a long-term contract / temporary Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become an integral part of a rapidly growing team at a company in the Real Estate & Property industry. Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, processing expense reports, resolving A/P issues, and matching, batching, and coding invoices are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. This position requires people who have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of accounting and its principles, hands on, and the ability to think on your feet. Located in Brooklyn, New York, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary position.

　　Major responsibilities

　　Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

　　Assist with internal and external audits as needed

　　Carry out additional tasks as assigned

　　Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis

　　Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

　　Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks

　　Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

　　Fullfill full-cycle A/P Requirements - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

　　Yardi experience

　　Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
