Description Robert Half has a great opportunity available for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk with an organization that offers an appealing company culture among highly skilled professionals. This position works closely and reports to the Accounting Manager and handles all general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. The main responsibilities will include matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Gardena, California area and will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire position.

　　Responsibilities

　　Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

　　Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

　　Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

　　Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

　　Provide support to internal business partners

　　Complete full-cycle A/P

　　Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

　　Assist with internal and external audits as needed Requirements

　　Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

　　Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

　　Knowledge of Code Invoices

　　Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Coding Invoices experience

　　Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　-SAGE experience preferred
