  Job Title: Accounts Payable Assistant

  Location: Dublin 3

  Reports to: AP Finance Manager / AP Supervisor

  Job Overview:

  Accounts Payable Assistant (12-month contract)

  Job Responsibilities:

  Ensuring all invoices are processed on time.Organising supplier payment runs/manual payments.Adhering to week/month end deadlines for assigned entities.Ongoing review of AP aging and GRIR reports to identify and analyze aging problems and take corrective action as required.Prepare quarterly accruals and fully participate in the month end close process for AP.Liaise with cross functional teams on query resolution and global alignment where applicable.Ensure queries are dealt with in a swift and efficient manner.Complete GL tasks if assigned by the controller team (e.g. VAT reconciliations etc. - training will be provided)Participate in improvement projects and initiatives in addition to performing day-to-day tasks.Ongoing review of system and processes to ensure departmental compliance.Cross training between colleagues to ensure relevant cover is always in place.Process other ad-hoc tasks as identified and required.

  Job Qualifications:

  Essential3 plus years AP experienceDesirableBusiness / Accounting degree or IATI (or similar) qualification

  Additional Skills/Preferences:

  EssentialExcellent knowledge of AP proceduresKnowledge of accounting principlesGood organisational skills and the ability to manage high volumes of workStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGood problem-solving skills and ability to use own initiativePositive attitudeAbility to work under pressureDesirableKnowledge of SAP, Coupa & Concur Expense Reporting System would be advantageousE-invoicing experience
