What’s a typical day as an Accounts Payable Analyst? You’ll be:
• Processing vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Verifying and reconciling purchase orders, delivery receipts, and invoices.
• Ensuring proper approval and coding of invoices before processing.
• Managing and maintaining vendor relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
• Processing employee expense reports and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Reconciling vendor statements and resolving any discrepancies.
• Preparing and processing weekly payment runs via check, ACH, or wire transfer.
• Assisting in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Keeping abreast of changes in regulations and best practices in accounts payable processes.
Requirements:
• Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Have proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.
• Have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Are proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Have strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Can work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
