Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Auxiliary Operator will be responsible for the operation and inspection of various systems and equipment as assigned. Normally, their assigned areas will include the boilers and associated systems such as fans, grates, ash and dust systems, the demineralizer, and the testing of feedwater quality.

GED/HS Diploma1-3 years previous experience with high pressure boilers and electric generating equipment.Water treatment/chemistry experience a plus[Physical Demands:]{inherit",serif"=""}
Walk, stand, sit, climb and be able to handle temperature changes including extreme heatBe able to lift/carry 50lbsQualify to wear a full face respirator.**[Shift Work: 5 shifts on, 2 shifts off, 2 shifts on, 5 shifts off, rotating 12-hour days/nights.
