Description Play a critical part in a team environment as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk in a thriving company. This short-term contract / temporary position is offered through Robert Half. The Accounts Payable Clerk will update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, process checks, process expense reports, resolve A/P issues, and match, batch, and code invoices. We seek out ambitious professionals who are creators, leaders, and pioneers. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Tucson, Arizona area and will be a short-term contract / temporary position.

　　How you will make an impact

　　Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed

　　Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

　　Provide support during internal and external audits

　　Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs

　　Perform full-cycle A/P

　　Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling

　　Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

　　Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department Requirements - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Accounts Payable (AP) experience

　　Knowledge of Receptionist Duties

　　Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

　　Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
