Description

Robert Half, a leading specialized staffing firm, is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join a dynamic, innovative team in Kailua, Hawaii.

With the role situated within an engaging, fast-paced environment, the selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of fiscal, administrative, and clerical services. The primary function of the role is to play a vital part in maintaining our financial records inclusive of managing the AP process and performing reconciliations of vendor statements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Process and monitor payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.

· Continue to improve the automated Accounts payable system.

· Complete reimbursements, credit card packets, petty cash, employee advances, and etc.

· Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries; maintain professional relationships with vendors.

· Assist in month-end closing; prepare analysis of accounts as requested.

· Engage in ongoing customer service, including providing support to the Finance/Accounting Department, and other company personnel.

Requirements

Qualifications:

· 0-1 year of experience in an Accounts Payable position; experience in a similar industry will be considered advantageous.

· Proficiency with any accounting software

· Strong time management skills.

· Ability to work independently, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

· Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to analyze information.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· AA in accounting or BA in non-accounting major
