With locations and projects across North America and beyond, exciting opportunities are waiting for you in dozens of cities.We are accepting applications for a 2024 Accounting Internship in our Seattle District Office.ResponsibilitiesHere's how an Accounting Intern for our Seattle District located in Bellevue, WA contributes to our team:Accounts receivable: create and enter monthly pay applications, reconcile billings etc.Accounts payable: ensure proper approval and timely entry of invoices, reconcile statements, etc.General Ledger: monthly journal entriesReporting: monthly reporting, yearly reporting, and business planningReview owner contracts to understand payment terms, cost of work definition and other requirements/allowancesSubcontract Management: track and manage the various submittal documents, etc.QualificationsWhat you will bring to the role:Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related disciplineProficiency with Microsoft Office, especially with ExcelEffectively communicate verbally and in writing, with project personnel, suppliers, subcontractors and ownersAccuracy and high level of detail orientationAbility to meet required deadlinesMust be authorized to work in the US18 years of age or olderPCL is an innovative, employee-owned company comprised of people who find passion in their profession and take pride in doing great work every day.
