Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Specialist to assist our team in LITTLETON, Colorado, United States. This role will primarily involve customer-facing support, including helping with indirect tax-related matters such as Sales and Use Tax and Payroll Tax. You will also assist customers with logging into websites, working within a team to ensure smooth operations. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer-facing support for all indirect tax matters

• Handle and assist with Sales and Use Tax and Payroll Tax

• Assist customers with technical issues, such as logging into websites

• Collaborate with a team to ensure smooth operations

• Learn and use company-specific software for data entry

Skills:

• Knowledge of Sales Tax

• Familiarity with Vertex Sales Use Tax

• Experience with Payroll Taxes and Payroll Tax Returns

• Willingness to learn new software and processes. Requirements • Proficiency in Sales Tax is required

• Expertise in Vertex Sales Use Tax is essential

• Experience with Payroll Taxes is necessary

• Proficiency in Payroll Tax Returns is mandatory

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions

• Knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
