POSITION SUMMARY
Naviga Hosting & IT teams operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 Days of the year and are a core piece of operations. Duties include but are not limited to the Amazon Cloud, Azure Cloud, Server Infrastructure both cloud based & physical, Server & Security Monitoring and maintenance, Window OS, Linux, Active Directory, VOIP and much more. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
Operation Skills
Implement desktop and server systems that utilize industry best practices to meet corporate objectives.
Deploy workstations, servers, printers, Antivirus, local firewalls, encryption systems, and all host security systems.
Monitor and manage IT cloud environments – AWS and Azure, Windows and potentially Linux based.
Manage daily audit processes, backup process completion, group notifications and escalation processes.
IT and cloud hosting related ticket management, i.e., resolving a variety of internal and customer based issues.
Customer Support on phone & email and L1 troubleshooting.
Manage user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations.
Manage enterprise directory services and supporting server infrastructure.
Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory.
Manage, Monitor, and fix issues generated from applications, cloud and security system
Handle operating system security patching and monitoring.
Plan and implement server upgrades, maintenance fixes, and vendor-supplied patches.
Develop, document, and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use.
Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user and network hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, and mobile devices.
Where required, install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot associated end user software and networking software products.
Technical Skills/Experience:
Working technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems, including MS Office, MS Windows 2012, MS Windows 2016 and beyond.
Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including firewalls, Active Directory, MS SQL and MS Exchange Online.
Working experience with Amazon Cloud
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining all manners of server hardware, storage, and associated network equipment, including SCSI, RAID, and I/O topology.
PowerShell / Script writing a plus.
Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience.
Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.

Educational Background/ Other Requirements
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science
3 years relevant work experience.
Certifications in Microsoft and/or AWS system technologies beneficial
Be willing and able to work flexible hours, including work in the evenings, midnight shifts, on the weekends and during holidays (scheduled and unscheduled).
MUST be willing and able to go into the office for shifts.
