Description Robert Half is looking for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk available to start immediately. Located in Dublin, California, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary opening. Career growth and quick advancement is available in this progressive department. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be expected to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.

　　Major responsibilities

　　Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed

　　Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks

　　Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling

　　Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

　　Complete full-cycle A/P

　　Perform special projects as assigned

　　Provide customer service to internal business partners

　　Provide internal and external audit assistance as required Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Research experience

　　General familiarity with Internal Approval

　　Foundational knowledge in video

　　Demonstrated knowledge of NIS

　　Experience with Printing

　　Adeptness in processor

　　Documentation experience

　　Practical knowledge of Accounting Functions

　　Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities

　　Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

　　Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
