We are offering a contract opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Knoxville, Tennessee. The individual will be responsible for maintaining and improving financial processes and systems within the industry for our client. This position has a very high opportunity to become contract-to-hire.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately manage and maintain financial records using QuickBooks Online

• Generate detailed financial statements and reports

• Handle bank and credit card reconciliations

• Monitor, verify, and maintain budget sheets and project sheets

• Record all financial transactions accurately

• Manage monthly accruals and oversee the year-end close process

• Record and verify transactions, tracking in Microsoft Excel.

• Use Microsoft Excel to create dynamic financial reports and models, preparing financial statements and reconciling the balance sheet.

• Maintain and manage accounts payable

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Thorough understanding and execution of Accounting Functions

• Mastery of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing Functions is crucial

• Ability to Analyze Financial Statements effectively

• Experience in preparing Monthly Statements

• Proficiency in preparing Monthly Financial Statements

• Experience with Quickbooks Online is a must
