Description
An expanding manufacturing and distribution company has an Accounting Manager position with an immediate availability. This position is offered through Robert Half. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including maintaining the general ledger system, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Preferably, you should be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. Responsibilities
Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies
Provide regular review and analysis of balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Encourage and manage the full accounting team performance so that close deadlines are met
Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes designing systems and processes, migrating data, testing, training, and administrating
Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Possessing a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
5+ years of recent relevant financial experience
Strong familiarity with SAP
Comprehensive knowledge of Monthly Sales Tax
SAP experience preferred
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Strong problem-solving skills
Customer service-oriented communication skills
