　　ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

　　Will include, but not limited to the following areas:

　　Assisting with research, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records in an organized, timely and logical fashion.

　　Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.

　　Learning to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze large data sets in Excel, track information, and support the company.

　　Compiles, processes and sorts AP documents, such as shipping documentation, expenses, invoices, sales tax and checks, substantiating business transactions.

　　Computes and records charges, refunds, cost of lost or damaged goods, freight charges, rentals, and similar items.

　　Prepares account statements, reports, and other records and reviews for accuracy.

　　Monitors accounts payable and receivable to ensure that payments are up to date.

　　Codes data for input to financial data processing system according to company procedures.

　　Analyze variances in cost and quantity

　　Assists in implementing any new accounting procedures as directed.

　　Performs other duties as assigned or modified.

　　EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

　　Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or closely related field

　　Must have at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

　　OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

　　Proficient skills with computers.

　　Familiar with macros and complex spreadsheet formulas, definitions, and applications.

　　Competency with various software packages including, but not limited to, MS Office suite of programs specifically Excel.

　　Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a bonus.
