Description

We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to be a part of our team located in Walterboro, South Carolina. In this role, you will be tasked with handling various accounting tasks, including account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Your duties will also involve billing and data entry tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of invoices in an accurate and timely manner

• Handle account reconciliation tasks to ensure financial accuracy

• Manage accounts payable duties, ensuring all financial obligations are met

• Oversee accounts receivable tasks, ensuring all payments are received and properly recorded

• Carry out billing tasks, preparing and sending out invoices to customers

• Perform data entry tasks, updating and maintaining financial records

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reporting

• Operate QuickBooks for financial management and bookkeeping tasks

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting clerk role or similar

• Proven skills in account reconciliation and the ability to manage both accounts payable and receivable

• Experience in billing and data entry tasks

• Proficiency in invoice processing

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
