Description We are in search of a dedicated Credit Clerk to join our team in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This role is centered around the careful processing of customer credit applications, maintaining detailed customer credit records, and resolving any credit-related inquiries. The function of this job is further extended to the monitoring of customer credit accounts and appropriate action-taking to collect overdue payments. This job is situated within the Accounting Clerk industry and offers a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency
• Uphold accurate records of customer credit
• Handle customer inquiries related to credit and resolve them effectively
• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly
• Take appropriate actions to collect overdue payments
• Ensure compliance with accounts payable processing and adhere to departmental procedures
• Stay updated with accounts receivable aging and coordinate with partner programs to maintain the current status
• Assist customers with any queries regarding their accounts and process credit card payments
• Process customer statements on a monthly basis
• Administer petty cash fund and ensure expense documentation is accurate and complete
• Assist in the preparation of the organization's cash receipts donation documentation and enter details into the general ledger
• Contribute to the preparation of monthly consolidated financial reports
• Assist in enforcing accounting policies and procedures
• Establish and maintain effective communication with staff members, vendors, and auditors. Requirements • Must have proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Must be familiar with Billing procedures
• Requires skills in Data Entry
• Experience in Invoice Processing is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
• Knowledge of Oracle is essential
• Should have experience in using QuickBooks
• Prior experience with SAP is necessary
