Description Robert Half is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk to work in the Oil & Gas - Pipeline industry, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a short-term contract / temporary position located in the Hesperia, California area. Thrive in an energetic, team-oriented environment in this position, which offers room for growth. 　　How you will make an impact

　　Submit financial figures to journals and ledgers

　　Overall accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects

　　Arrange documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes

　　Compose statements and reports that require utilization of a wide collection of sources

　　Aid Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing

　　Support Accounts Receivable: apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance, and process daily invoices/credit

　　Patch up discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required Requirements - Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds

　　Invoice reconciliation experience required

　　Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel

　　Data entry experience

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

　　1+ years of relevant experience

　　Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system
