Job Summary:
As an Accounting Analyst for the Lodging Audit department, your primary area of responsibility will be processing of Travel Agent & Group Commissions. Additional responsibilities include management of shared TA Commissions email inbox, balance sheet account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, Epic Mountain Express billing, and ad hoc tasks as required to support the Lodge Audit team. This role is integral in supporting accuracy of accounting transactions from the Property Management Systems (PMS) and Central Reservation systems. The ideal candidate for this position is a professional individual with a positive team focused attitude, who has a strong attention to detail, very organized, and excellent communication skills.
General Description:
Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including representatives from various Travel Agencies and Meeting Planners
Accounting support of hospitality systems and processes; including travel agent commissions, managing email inboxes, system mapping review, audit of transactional accuracy
Preparation of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure transactional accuracy and compliance
Demonstrate a positive, professional and team-oriented attitude toward coworkers, internal and external customers, and management

Expected Pay Range: $55,000- $62,000
Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time / Year Round

Job Responsibilities:
Weekly manual Travel Agency Commission submissions
Monthly processing of RPOS, EME and GTLC commissions
Monthly Epic Mountain Express billing
Communication with wholesaler partners & vendors
Own and manage email inboxes for Travel Agent Commissions & Epic Mountain Express accounting questions
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and perform variance analysis
Create general ledger journal entries
Support the creation, development and maintenance of SOP to help ensure that these procedures are followed
Serve as subject matter expert in TACS software
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
Outstanding attention to detail; highly organized
Effectiveness of multitasking and prioritization in order to meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to take ownership in work quality
Ability to adapt and build on processes for a growing company
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Bachelor Degree in business, accounting or related discipline - preferred
3-4 years accounting or related experience - preferred
Previous experience using TACS, IQWare, Inntopia, – preferred
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $55,000- $62,000. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
