Description

We are in search of an Accounting Analyst for a client located in Redmond, Washington. This role involves handling accounting responsibilities and contributing to financial analysis. The position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the industry, and you will be working in a dynamic environment where attention to detail is paramount. This is a contract role with potential to be contract to permanent. This is a full time in office position.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake the pre-invoice approval process in an offline environment, ensuring a structured 3-way matching system is in place.

• Assist with budget preparation and perform basic variance analysis on received invoices to ensure adherence to quotes and contracts.

• Engage in processing a regular flow of invoices per month, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.

• Take on managing a significant backlog of AP.

• Utilize software tools such as QuickBooks and Excel in the execution of accounting functions.

• Ensure the maintenance of accurate records for all customer credit transactions.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required.

• Progress from an accounting role to a finance role, demonstrating adaptability and a broad skill set.

Requirements • Proficiency in executing Accounting Functions with a high level of accuracy.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of pivot tables, vlookups, and complex formulas.

• Demonstrated ability to perform Variance Analysis, with a focus on identifying and explaining discrepancies.
