Description

To be successful at this Accountant (Yardi) position, you should be someone who creates spreadsheets in your sleep, be looking to find your place in the accounting field. Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for an entry-level Accountant with a highly successful organization. Candidates for this position should be comfortable with reviewing financial statements with a heavy data entry component. Are you interested in spreadsheet creation and manipulation? Your responsibilities

Aiding in full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

Prepare monthly journal entries

Analyzing and adjusting account discrepancies

Input data

Facilitating audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits

Making sure that accounts contained in the general ledger are correct

Performing other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned

Requirements - Less than one year of experience required

Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects

Strong familiarity with bank reconciliations

Foundational knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP)

Yardi experience required

Microsoft Excel experience

Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

Excellent data entry skills

High-level understanding of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred

AA degree or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred

Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
