Description We are in search of a meticulous Staff Accountant to join our team in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, United States. The primary function of this role is to manage and maintain financial procedures, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. The role offers an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in accounting, particularly in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.

• Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems.

• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with the payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.

• Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, capital, and prepare reports that reflect the company's financial status.

• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.

• Maintain financial security by following internal controls.

• Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.

• Audit the work of the accounting department, applying principles of accounting and provide detailed reports on findings.

• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is required

• Must have a working knowledge of General Ledger

• Must be able to create and manage Journal Entries effectively

• Experience with Month End Close is necessary

• Familiarity with NetSuite will be advantageous

• Experience with Oracle is highly desirable

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus

• SAP skills will be beneficial.
